LETTER FROM KATHY

These are photos of my friends Denese Dody and Steve Murphy, and the
menagerie of all of our pets we could get into the camera (some cats are missing).
Denese and Steve rose to an emergency situation and volunteered to take care of LOLA, Lindsey's Sharpie, as she prepares to move back to the Mainland.

 
Now, if you don't think that's above and beyond any call of troublesome duty...
then I have a bridge in Malibu I'd like to sell you. I was in the process of
moving, so had no place to keep her for Lindsey.

Regarding my GRAY HAIR...the photos in the sun actually make it look whiter
than it really is. It's actually coal black with a huge white (salt and pepper really) streak on top. When I moved, I couldn't find my hair color, so just decided to let
it go for the first time in years! I recommend this to everyone! IT'S GREAT FUN...
and my hair feels so much healthier. I'M NOT ASHAMED OF MY GRAYING HAIR....I'M PROUD OF EVERY SINGLE ONE. I'll Bet a few of you know what I mean. WE EARNED THEM, BY GOLLY...AND EVERY WRINKLE TOO!

WE WOMEN NEED TO OVERCOME THIS HORRENDOUS ISSUE OF BEING ASHAMED OF GOING GRAY. It's Mother Nature for goodness sake! I think
it's fun to color our hair; I just wish I had lighter hair so that I could change
colors are most women can. It's harder for someone with coal-black hair to change that without doing severe damage to it.

As soon as I get all of the 'swimming' out of my system, and locate my favorite hair color combinations...I'll go back to that troublesome task of coloring it again.
